| The dogleg left
seventh hole, is the hardest hole on the course. Off the tee, there is out-of-bounds to the left, to the right the fairway is tree lined and the fairway slopes from right to left. If this was bad enough, a giant Maple tree sits at the apex of the dogleg and blocks a direct shot at the green. This Maple can easily come into play on your second shots as well. The approach shot is usually a long iron or hybrid, if you have a clear shot to the green. Another large Pine is to the left of the green and bunkers protect the right and rear. The green is large, making a good approach a necessity. Par requires good shots on tee to green and carefully reading of the breaks on the green. All too often, this is the hole you would rather forget. |
