Dear Fellow Members:
With
the holiday season rapidly approaching, I would like to wish everyone a very
Happy Holiday and Happy New Year. Now
let’s reflect on all the good times last year, and look forward to the great
times next year. Also let’s reflect on
how lucky we are to be members of such a nice little golf course that is kept
very green and beautiful.
Last
summer we launched a couple of new programs, which included the clinics we
organized for juniors and new golfers of any age on Monday evenings, and we
plan to expand this program this year with some new ideas. Out with the old(dead trees), and in the
new(trees)! We cut down several dead
trees, got rid of a bunch of old stumps, and planted 27 new trees. We also had the foundation in the clubhouse
fixed in the fall. You will notice some new changes on the back of your
tournament schedule as well as a couple of work days in April and May. We are asking for volunteers to help us with
repairs around the pro shop, clubhouse, and grounds in an effort to keep our
costs down so we can keep our membership dues as low as possible. A Corporate Membership has been established
in hopes of generating more income; please refer to your membership application
for details.
In
closing I would like to remind everyone to check out our informational website:
www.Copleycountryclub.com. Please enter your e-mail address in the space
provided on the membership application. Also
if you know of someone not on our mailing list or did not receive our mailing
list that would like to join Copley, please refer them to our website for
further information. Fairways and
greens to all!
Sincerely,
Tad W. Lamell
